In Summer 2008, Shane Meadows (Somer’s Town, This is England) returned to documentary film-making to capture a brief moment in the remarkable life of ex-drummer and roadie LE DONK, once a legendary name on the 90’s rock circuit.

Meadows catches up with Donk struggling with money and impending fatherhood, but just as his fortune is set to change. Having discovered new UK rap sensation SCOR-ZAY-ZEE, Donk is hoping to use all his old contacts and instincts to secure Scorz a stellar gig to propel himself back into the big-time and the affections of his pregnant ex-girlfriend. Shooting in an improvised rockumentary style, Meadows joins Le Donk and Scorz on the road trip of a lifetime. Starring and devised with Paddy Considine, LE DONK is the first 5 day feature from Warp Films and Shane Meadows, and includes appearances from amongst others, The Arctic Monkeys.
