Richard Linklater just nabbed the Founder’s Directing Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival for his moving and intimate portrait about childhood, family, and growing up. Coming hot off of the festival circuit after its huge debut at Sundance — followed by a Silver Bear award for Best Director at Berline — Boyhood has already been declared a “masterpiece” by Rolling Stone and “transporting” by The New York Times.
After recently screening at SXSW, Boyhood has continued to rake in the love from fans and critics alike, landing top spots on Critic’s Pick lists for Variety, Indiewire, Moviefone and more!
