What fresh hell hath global warming wrought? The highly terrifying answer in 2 words: “Blood Glacier.” In Marvin Kren’s thrilling throwback creature feature, a team of scientists must contend with some horrifically mutated creatures bent on the destruction of mankind. The end result of man’s inhumanity to mother nature, the creatures in this film are many and they do not disappoint, the heartiest of genre fans have recognized ‘Blood Glacier’ as a worthy heir to Carpenter’s throne. Even the New York Times has declared the film, “rousing, an enjoyably committed and splattery creature feature complete with giant flying insects.” There’s creepy-crawly horror, a dog that emerges as the emotional (and biological) center of the story and some nasty bites (the kind that only get unimaginably worse after scratching).
BLOOD GLACIER opens TODAY in NY and is available on iTunes, Cable VOD and all major digital providers now!
